Birds are animals with wings, feathers, and sharp beaks. They don’t have teeth, and they lay eggs. There are more than 10,000 kinds of birds, and they perform important tasks such as getting rid of bugs, spreading plant seeds, and helping flowers grow by visiting them. Sometimes birds are very helpful, but sometimes they are annoying when they decide to make a nest in places such as our houses.
There are large and small birds and different colors and ways they act. Some birds, such as pigeons, starlings, and sparrows, really enjoy cities and can make a lot of noise, find food in trash, and dwell in places with a lot of other birds. They like to make little homes for their baby birds in safe spots such as under the roof, in the fireplace, or in the places where air comes into the house. Sometimes they can act mean if we get too close to their nests.
Birds can live everywhere, even in large cities. When mischievous birds want a location to live, they look for spots with the things they need, such as food, water, and a safe location. They often pick spots on top of buildings or inside parts like ceiling spaces, rain drain pipes, the hole where air comes in, or other cozy, high spots.
Birds really enjoy places where they can easily get food from trash, eat bird seed people put out, or water that is just sitting there. But when birds choose to live in or around buildings it can cause trouble. One problem is their poop might spoil items including roofs and peel off paint because it’s basically acid.
Another excellent thing is that birds sometimes carry unpleasant sicknesses that might spread to people from their poop. Don’t try to find an easy way out, as there are effective solutions to mitigate bird problems at your residence: install bird-proof materials on vents, and seal any gaps on your roof or walls to prevent birds from nesting.
Make sure your trash cans are closed tight, clean up any crumbs, and don’t put bird feeders right next to your house. You can also use pointy spikes, special nets, or things that scare birds to keep them from staying in your house. Every once in a while, check your house to make sure there aren’t places birds can start nesting.
In a situation where a large number of birds are causing a disaster and no other trick works, you need to get people who know how to remove birds the right way. They can take away the birds without hurting them and clean everything up. They also know how to stop birds from coming back. Because this is their job, they’re really careful to make sure they follow the laws about birds. Some birds are protected by law, as evidenced by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.
Not everyone knows that it’s not okay to play with these birds, especially when they’re nesting, unless they have special permits. We know all of the aforementioned legal material and how to move birds without breaking rules. Homeowners should really ask us for help, to make sure you don’t accidentally do something wrong, and to be really kind to the birds.

AND they instantly solved our problem (squirrels/chipmunks in our walls). Natalie Morehouse2025-01-20Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had raccoons infiltrate our attic. We originally thought they were squirrels. The technician came out (on Christmas Eve!) and was sooo incredible. He showed us some of the areas that are allowing the raccoons are getting in, explained why he knew it was raccoons and not squirrels, and helped us feel much more confident. Additionally, he was sooo good with our pets and kind to the animals that were hanging out upstairs. Our dog is super reactive and the technician was so sweet with him and helped him feel more comfortable. I cannot reccomend this business enough. They are reasonably priced, work incredibly hard, and are beyond professional. A well deserved 5/5 stars. Mary Hamlin2025-01-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Quick and efficient service to eliminate the bats in my attic! They didn’t try to sell extra services that I didn’t need. I would hire again if I had another critter problem! David Clements2025-01-03Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Critter Removal is a great company. I contacted them via their website, and they promptly made an appointment to review my critter issue. Dalton arrived on time and reviewed the issue. They developed a quote that included installing an exit trap for the squirrels in my attic. The problem continued, so Dalton came out and made an adjustment to the trap location. Within a week the squirrels were gone. Dalton then installed metal flashing to eliminate future problems.
